You won’t want to miss out on any of our events. Accounting majors can look forward to our annual Accounting On-Campus Recruitment event scheduled for September 25 through October 6. Some of the top firms that will participate include PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte & Touche, Ernst & Young, KPMG, and many more. All firms have full-time and/or internship opportunities available in the areas of audit services, tax, assurance practice, staff accounting and more. To date, 16 CPA firms are confirmed to participate.

We are also looking forward to the U.S. Department of Labor visiting our campus. The U.S. Department of Labor plans and conducts civil and criminal investigations focusing on the private sector. Representatives will be on campus September 5 to host three information sessions to recruit accounting, finance, MaC, & MBA students for their Investigator and Auditor openings. Starting salaries range from $36,539 to $44,695, and salary increases are available twice a year. You could increase your salary to $64,815 by your third year of service. The openings listed above are located in the Cincinnati Regional District area. However, the U.S. Department of Labor offers a multitude of employment opportunities at several other field offices across the U.S. If the Cincinnati region isn’t for you, representatives hosting the information sessions can get you connected to the right representative in your preferred region.

Other business majors such as CIS, economics, equine, management and marketing: Don’t feel left out. We are hosting several on-campus recruitment events for you as well. Companies specializing in such industries as banking, retail, insurance, restaurant, financial services and logistics will be on campus. UPS, which will be recruiting our students in several different divisions, will be on campus to host business roundtables on September 20 and November 15, and will offer two information sessions scheduled on September 21 to target undergraduate and MBA students. Full-time and co-op/internship opportunities are available.

BB&T will host business roundtables on October 11 for its excellent Management Development Program (MDP). The MDP is a comprehensive, structured, six-month training program that provides future managers of BB&T with a strong foundation for a successful career in financial services in areas such as business banking, mortgage banking, private banking, retail banking, and corporate concentrations. Competitive salary is available. On October 16, BB&T will interview pre-selected candidates who attended the business roundtable on October 11.
